Beaver Tap

Banging your stick on the ice. During game play this is a call for a pass from the puck handler. The message is “here I am pass it to me”. The beaver tap is also used as a type of applause. For example when an injured player who is down on the ice finally gets up and heads to the bench, they deserve an applause. Hockey players also like to give their teammates an applause after a fight.
